The helicopter wound up taking them all the way to a city in Nepal. Since it was the country in between China and India they would stop there before being transferred to China.
When they were taken into the Interpol base, both Cody and Lily were given medical treatment. Of course Cody had the most injuries, so he sat there in the hospital with the top half of his prison suit off, wrapped in white bandages.
Lily sat on a bed next to him but they were separated by a privacy curtain.
The doctors and nurses came in and tended to their wounds. And when they were done, all of them left the room for a minute. Once the doctors were gone, Lily pushed the curtain aside. She was still in her outfit, though torn and worn, it was still in one piece and she did not need privacy.
"Hey." Lily smiled and said to Cody.
He was sitting at the bottom of the hospital bed when he looked up at Lily.
"Hey." He said quietly.
"How are you doing over there?" Lily asked.
"Ok. Still alive."
Cody looked over his bandaged wounds.
Lily giggle a little and said, "Well that's good."
Then they sat in silence for a few minutes.
"Hey, um, how did you get the military there so quick. Or was I out for a while?" Cody said putting a hand to his head.
"Well it actually took me a couple hours to get back. I was lucky enough to run into the military not long after I got out of the lab. Apparently the police were right on us the entire time." She explained.
"Oh. I see." Cody responded.
Lily nodded but could not continue the conversation because the doctors and nurses came back in. They were followed by Cun Li, Lily's father, and several other Interpol agents.
"Dad!" Lily exclaimed when she saw him.
She hopped off the bed and ran up to him and gave him a hug.
"Oh thank heavens you're ok Lily." Mr. Constantine said with relief.
The other police officers, along with Chun Li, walked over to Cody.
"Cody Travers," Cun Li said to him. "You are under arrest."
He looked up confused for only a second and then sighed. He then put his hands out so the officers could put his cuffs and chains back on.
Lily turned around as she saw them cuff Cody.
"Wait, don't arrest him!" She protested.
"Lily, he broke out of prison, and he is still supposed to be in jail for a murder he actually committed." Chun Li told her student.
"But he helped bring down Seth and prove I'm not guilty. He alone destroyed the 'top secret' Shadow loo base that you guys didn't even know about! Doesn't he get something for that?" Lily argued.
But the police were already escorting Cody out of the room.
"Wait! Hold on!"
"Sorry Lily, but he has to go. It's the law, you know that." Her master argued back.
"Well, if you have to take him just wait a second before you do."
Lily walked up to him.
"I'm really sorry Cody." She said, eyes watering. "But I'm not gonna give up. I'll do something to get you out."
Cody just sighed and shrugged like always.
"Don't worry about it. I belong in prison." He said with sadness in his voice.
"I swear I'll do something!"
Lily let the tears fall down her face and she hugged Cody, though he could not return the gesture.
But he suddenly laughed a little.
"But hey," He said to her.
She pulled away and looked up at him.
"It was fun while it lasted."
"Come on! Let's get moving!" An impatient agent said pulling Cody's arm.
Lily stepped back and let the officers haul Cody off to take him back to jail. She sighed heavily and turned around to Cun Li and her father.
"Master, please, isn't there anything you can do?" She pleaded.
Chun Li shook her head saying, "I know it's a shame. Cody is a nice guy, but I'm afraid not."
Lily turned to her father with her look of anguish.
"Dad? Please."
"Oh no, no, no. I can't help the young man." Mr. Constantine said.
"Dad, c'mon, nothing?"
Lily's eyes welled up even more. When Mr. Constantine saw how upset his daughter was he sighed. She obviously liked the guy.
"Alright. I do have a good friend who is a very good lawyer. He's rarely ever lost a case. He does owe me a favor so I'll talk to him for you." Mr. Constantine said almost unwillingly.
"REALLY?!" Lily became excited.
"Yes." Her father groaned.
"Oh my God, thank you Dad! Thank you so much!!"
Lily jumped up and down and hugged her father.
"It may take a few months for him to actually get to Cody's case, but I promise to talk to him." Mr. Constantine reassured her.
Lily began to feel a lot better and she was very excited. She giggled happily but then she turned to Chun Li who was looking at her very firmly.
"You may not have to go to jail but your not off the hook for breaking out." Chun Li said narrowing her eyes at Lily.
She just looked down, knowing she was still in some trouble.
"I know." She sighed.
"Now come on let's go home. There are a lot of tedious training drills with your name on them." Chun Li said.
Lily  groaned again. The three of them then began walking down the hall to take a helicopter back to China.

-3 months later-
Cody sat in his lonely cell tossing some rocks in the air. It had been three months since his and Lily's adventure. And he couldn't stop thinking about her. He hadn't heard a word from her, no letter, no visit, nothing. He figured she had forgotten about him, like so many had done before.
But one day, as he sat bored as always in his cell, a guard came up to the door and told Cody he had a visitor. Cody became excited and eagerly went with the guard.
When they got to the visiting hall, the guard pointed over to a table on the far side of the large open room. At the table sat a woman with long pink hair and a white tang top on with short skimpy jean shorts. She also wore a police officers hat. And standing next to her was a giant of a man with dark flowing brown hair. He wore a full wrestler's leopard print leotard complete with boots.
Cody instantly became very disappointed. They were people from his past. People he didn't particularly care to ever see anymore. But there they were. He walked over to them frustrated. They were not Lily. And that's the only person he cared to see at that time. He sat down opposite the pink haired woman.
"Poison." He grumbled, acknowledging her.
The giant man standing behind her cleared his throat.
"Hugo." Cody mumbled in an even lower tone.
"Hello Cody." Poison said contently.
"What the hell are you doing here?" Cody asked annoyed.
"Just came to visit you like always. I can't visit my favorite inmate?" She said in a teasing voice. "You seem a little more upset than usual. Were you expecting someone else?"
Cody scoffed.
"Why would you care?"
"Because I'm the only one who comes to visit you. You didn't meet someone else when you broke out did you?" Poison asked seductively.
"Maybe I did, so what?!" Cody rolled his eyes.
Poison gasped.
"Oh, I think I'm jealous. Is she prettier than me?"
She licked her lips at him.
Cody scoffed again and said in a low grumpy tone, "Hell yea."
"Ugh! Why so mean?" Poison pursed her lips.
"Probably because I'm stuck in prison again! And if it hadn't been for mostly you, I wouldn't be in here in the first place!" Cody snapped and yelled at Poison.
"Vatch it boy!" Hugo leaned over and said sternly in a thick German accent.
"Don't tell me to watch it damn it! I'm in God damn jail!" Cody stood up angrily at Hugo. He then lunged forward at Cody some.
"I vill pound you into a hamburger patty!" Hugo yelled.
But before the men could get into a more serious fight, Poison stood up in between them.
"Now now. Let's not get to feisty." She said.
Then she turned to Cody.
"I guess since you're so grumpy we'll leave for now."
"Good." He mumbled under his breath.
Poison narrowed her eyes at him.
"Well I suppose you might want to know someone else is here to see you. Some high class lawyer from Canada." Poison told him.
Cody looked up. 'Canada?' He thought.
"Well goodbye Cody. Have fun with your lawyer. Come Andre."
Poison moved around Hugo and began walking for the exit. However Hugo did not move for a few seconds and just stared at Cody. Then he grunted at him and turned around and followed Poison out.
Then a man in a very expensive looking business suit came over to Cody's table and sat down.
"You must be Cody Travers. Ferris Weinstein, defense attorney." He reached out and shook Cody's hand. "A friend of mine hired me to look at your case and I think we can reopen it-"
Cody then cut in saying, "Who's the friend who hired you?".
"That's not important Mr. Travers. Your case is what's important." Mr. Weinstein said.
Cody shrugged and just listened to the lawyer as he spoke about what they were going to do in court and so on. But as he did he thought about a few things. 'He's from Canada and so is Lily and her dad. Lily's dad is probably the 'friend' this guy was talking about'. But Cody smiled, happy that Lily had really kept to her word. She really hadn't forgotten about him. And finally there was a potential to get out of prison. Cody might be able to see Lily again after all.
