Chun Li's Apprentice: 1

Lily Constantine was so excited, for the day she had been waiting for had finally come. She had come to a great turning point in her martial arts training.
For the past two years Lily had been training under a great fighter named Chun Li. And her master, Chun Li, had finally deemed her training one third complete. Normally the two year mark meant a quarter of training complete, if that, especially for a foreigner.
Lily had been brought to China by her father at 15 and a half. Mr. Constantine was a Canadian citizen who worked for an international bureau specializing in catching international criminals and terrorists. This organization was called Interpol. So Mr. Constantine was sent to China on an assignment to help catch a criminal named M. Bison. It was to be a long assignment with no set end, so therefore Mr. Constantine moved him and his daughter Lily temporarily to China, until either M. Bison was caught or the mission was presumed to be over. Upon working with the Chinese police, they met Chun Li, who was also a police officer and Interpol agent, as well as a marital artist. Lily, having always had a great interest in foreign fighting styles, asked her father to ask Chun Li if she would train Lily in her technique of fighting. Chun Li accepted willingly, so at 16 years old Mr. Constantine left Lily in the care of Chun Li.
However Chun Li kept her first and new apprentice a secret, thus assuring her safety. So finally, at 18, Chun Li decided Lily deserved a nice break after accomplishing several difficult goals and achieving a better rank in training. Chun Li allowed Lily to go into town for a personal and and visit her father who had since gone back to Canada, but flew in to see his daughter.
During the course of her day Lily and her father went shopping and ate lunch. Lily showed her dad all she could about her training. She even wore the official outfit Chun Li had given her for combat. It was much like her master's outfit, but instead of having poofy shoulders, they flared out into a point and the color was more of a dark royal blue. Chun Li also gave her apprentice a pair of white boots just like hers, only knee high. So Lily was dressed in her outfit and put her dark brown hair into her training pony tails.
Lily and her father spent most of the day together and Lily couldn't have been more happy. The two of them met with Chun Li once so she could tell Mr. Constantine how proud and impressed she was with Lily's training progress. Over all the day was a great day for Lily.
By 8:30 pm Lily walked her father back to his hotel. She then had to take a bus to it's last stop in a small community and then would have to walk the rest of the way to Chun Li's house and dojo. And the walk was at least 2 or so miles from the bus stop.
After getting off the bus she began to walk in the direction of home. And after several minutes of silence with nothing but the sounds of insects, Lily got the over whelming sense of dread and fear. Almost like she was being watched, or something bad was about to happen. She stopped and looked around and tried to prepare for something, an attack, a car, anything really. But nothing came. Perhaps she was just paranoid. She still had another mile and a half to go and it was dark and she was alone. Thinking of that Lily shrugged her anxiety off and continued walking. But little did she know something bad was indeed about to happen.
